A collection of framed photographs and prints featuring a variety of subject matter. The group includes two color chromogenic prints of sailing dinghies, one of which bears a handwritten inscription in the lower left margin, although the script is not clearly legible. A larger color chromogenic photograph depicts a cruising yacht at anchor in a coastal setting. The assortment also features a monochrome interior architectural study of a room with a fireplace, a monochrome photograph of a vintage car with a rear luggage rack and a registration plate reading FLAT-4, and a monochrome photograph of a funerary monument depicting a seated figure in Elizabethan or Jacobean style dress. Additionally, there is a color print of an abstract composition featuring spheres. The items are presented in various modern frames, including burl-wood effect, dark-stained wood, and gilt-edged finishes, with several prints mounted behind card mats.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally fair condition, though there are visible scuffs and scratches to several of the frames (photo 1). The larger yacht photograph shows some evidence of undulation or cockling behind the glass (photo 1). The photographic media appear generally well-preserved with no significant silver mirroring or foxing visible in the images.
