A Mid Century Modern gateleg dining table featuring a space-saving butterfly folding design. The table is constructed with a teak veneer top and a solid teak frame and legs. The rectangular top comprises two large drop-leaves which, when extended, are supported by four swinging gate-style legs with square-tapered profiles. The central frame features distinctive U-shaped solid end supports. The top surface shows a visible wood grain consistent with teak veneer. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible in the provided images to confirm a specific manufacturer.
Condition report:
The tabletop shows significant finish wear and sun-fading, with large areas of lightened, patchy finish (photo 3 and photo 4). Water rings and surface staining are visible across the top surface (photo 4). The wooden frame and legs exhibit scattered scuffs, nicks, and scratches consistent with age and utility (photo 1 and photo 5). Dust and cobwebs are present within the lower frame structure (photo 2). The structural integrity appears sound.
