A collection of assorted costume jewellery and trinkets, including various pieces presented in original retail boxes. The lot includes a large wooden chest containing a quantity of beaded necklaces, leather cord pendants, a yin-yang pendant, and various glass and plastic beads. Several silver-toned items are associated with the retailer Past Times, as indicated by printed yellow card inserts within a burgundy presentation box. These pieces include Celtic style and openwork pendants and earrings. Also present are a pair of silver-toned drop earrings featuring cylindrical enameled beads with fish motifs, a single-strand pink pearl style necklace, and a pair of orange stone drop earrings. Other items include an iridescent blue and green feather shaped brooch, a red cord bracelet with a glass pendant, and a silver-toned band ring. The collection features a variety of materials including base metal alloys, leather, glass, and wood. A red velvet octagonal jewellery case is included. Some silver-toned metal components show surface oxidation, but no hallmarks or purity stamps are clearly legible.
Condition report:
The collection shows general surface wear across various pieces consistent with age and use. The bulk chest contains many tangled necklaces and cords (photo 2). One burgundy presentation box shows some fraying to the interior velvet lining (photo 3). The wooden chest displays minor scuffs to the exterior finish and a small white adhesive label marked W1328H on the front (photo 1). No other significant damage is visible from the photographs provided.
