A collection of seven inch vinyl singles (45 RPM) predominantly featuring 1980s pop and classic soul/pop reissues. The lot is housed across three vintage black faux-leather carry cases with flip-top lids and metal latches. A substantial portion of the collection comprises UK reissues on the Old Gold label, identified by distinctive yellow and brown paper sleeves with the printed text “The original hit recordings” and a lighthouse logo. Other visible labels include Sire, Epic, MCA, Geffen, and Warner Bros.

The collection includes several titles by Madonna in original colour picture sleeves, including “Holiday”, “Into The Groove”, “Borderline”, and “Crazy for You” (Geffen, A 6323). Other visible artists include Shakin’ Stevens with “Cry Just a Little Bit” (Epic, A3774), Herb Alpert with “This Guy’s in Love With You” (Old Gold, OG 9540-B), Heatwave, Justin Hayward, The Drifters, Julio Iglesias, Matthew Wilder, Elton John, Mike Oldfield, Sal Solo, and Paul Young. Many of the Old Gold pressings are marked “Manufactured in the UK”. A small circular adhesive price label reading “W.H. SMITH £1.70” is visible on one of the Old Gold sleeves (photo 6).

Condition report:

The collection appears to be in generally playable condition. The picture sleeves show varying degrees of shelf wear including ring wear, edge creasing, and minor corner bumping, most notably on the Madonna \"Holiday\" and \"Into the Groove\" sleeves (photos 2 and 3). The Old Gold paper sleeves exhibit age-toning and occasional light creasing (photos 6-9). The vinyl media surfaces appear well-maintained with only light surface scuffs and dust visible (photo 6). The three storage cases show significant signs of wear including rusted metal hardware (photo 2), scuffing to the exterior surfaces, and some fraying to the interior linings and hinges (photo 1).
